It’s About Faith

We all face impossible situations at times which need God’s supernatural intervention. Sickness is one of the issues that needs a supernatural touch from the Lord to help us through. You may be sick today or know of someone who is sick, the situation may look impossible but know that God is a God of the impossible.

What always comforts me or gives me courage is the fact that God knows all that concerns us, He has a solution for what seems helpless to us. He is Almighty and nothing is impossible with Him.

In Mark 5:25-30 we read about a woman with a flow of blood. This is one of my favorite gospel passages. Why?  Because not only does it demonstrate the power of God but the power of believing. Your healing is dependent on your faith.

We have promises of health restoration in the Bible, and we know that without a shadow of doubt God is more than able to bring those promises to fulfillment.

He says in Matthew 17:20 that all you need is faith as small as a mustard seed. This is your meeting point with God. He gave the promise and you have to bring faith to give life to the promise.

The woman we read about in the above passage, was a desperate woman, she had been bleeding for years. She was so desperate for healing that she went after Jesus against all odds to receive her healing. No physician could help her, no hope was given by religious leaders. She was incurable by man’s standards. At the end she sought the only One who could heal her. The Great Physician.

It had become a matter of faith.

She went through the crowd to get to the Messiah. The Bible says she didn’t call on Jesus, she didn’t seek to be seen by Him, but she went for the hem of His garment. “If only I can touch His garment, I will be healed,”she said to herself. She touched the garment and immediately received her healing. And what’s even more interesting, Jesus immediately noticed that power left him. He then asked, “Who touched me”. Seeing the woman, he said, “Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be freed from your suffering”.

Power was not given, but power was taken through faith. It was His power through her faith that healed this woman. Nourish your faith with His word for He needs your faith to work in your life.

How desperate are you to receive your healing today, position yourself to touch the hem of His garment. Believe that He is able to heal you, and receive your healing miracle. He is a miracle working God.

Be freed from your suffering in Jesus Name.
