I Am Jehovah Rapha – Exodus 15:26

I’ve learnt that it is God’s will and His redemptive plan to heal us. It is His will because He laid our sickness and disease on Jesus, just as He did our sin(Isaiah 53:3). No matter how long you’ve been struggling, no matter how serious your situation, His Divine healing belongs to you. Divine healing is the removal by the power of God of the disease that has come upon your body. He is the Lord your healer.

When Moses asked God who He was, God replied, “I AM who I AM” which is translated as Yahweh or Jehovah. Later in the Scripture, God reveals Himself and His divine essence by using seven more detailed additions to His name. One of them is Jehovah-Rapha (the Lord who heals us), which is given in Exodus 15. He is the I AM, He is all the healing you can ever need and more.

The Hebrew word “rapha” means to mend, cure, heal, repair, and make whole. It also can be translated as “physician.” Thus, Father God declares Himself to be our Great Physician. He mends us, cures us, repairs us, and makes us whole. He is the one who created us and He desires for us to walk in His divine health. How wonderful it is that one of the most important things that God wanted us to know about Him was that He is a healer.

He is always faithful to us, unchanging in nature. Psalm 107: 20 says, “He sent His Word and healed them.” God did indeed send His Son so that we could be fully redeemed, saved, delivered, and healed in our spirit, our soul, and our body. Jesus carried not only our sins to Calvary’s cross but also our illnesses. No matter what sickness or infirmity may befall us, we are healed by the stripes and blood of Jesus.

Receive your healing today in Jesus’ Mighty Name.
